NOTE: The information on this site and on the podcast pertaining to Mills' military time is based on official army documents, including Mills' DD214 and OMPF. Cory has had 20+ years to get his DD214 and OMPF corrected. Cory deployed to Kosovo for 6 months on a peace-keeping mission; the combat was over by the time he got there. Cory also deployed to Kuwait; some of the 82nd went back to Ft. Bragg, some continued on to Iraq. Mills was assigned to a medic unit at one of the aid stations away from combat for roughly 2.5 months. Medics do not engage in combat unless fired upon.
